Mayor Rhonda Reardon will attend a flag ceremony in commemoration of “Mission Viejo Day” Thursday, July 18 at the OC Fair.
The 12:30 p.m. ceremony at the fairgrounds in Costa Mesa will celebrate this special City along with the neighboring communities of Lake Forest and Rancho Santa Margarita.
Along with the flag salute, the celebration will include the singing of the National Anthem by a Mission Viejo High School student. The three cities will also get their very own welcome at admission gates.
The OC Fair Express provides direct bus service to and from the fair from nine OC locations for $2 each way. You can catch the OC Fair Express any Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 11. The nearest location is at the Laguna Hills Transportation Center, 24282 Calle de los Caballeros.
